Displaying Members of A Privilege Group
The list of groups are available for selection from the Group: drop-down list. Changing the selected group automatically clears the list of displayed users.

Click on the Go button to run the search.

Results will be displayed in two lists - the left most list contains those users that are members of the group, while the right-most list displays users who don't currently belong to the group.

The number of returned matches is displayed just above the list of users. If there are more matches than can be displayed (1,200 per list by default), the total number of matches will also be displayed. You may need to refine your selection criteria to access the remaining entries.

Click on the Clear button to clear out the returned results from previous searches.

Filtering the Returned Results
You can narrow your search by using either the Filter by: field one of the Quick Filter buttons.

Filter by:              allows you enter part of a persons name and only return those names that match. You can filter by first name, surname or a combination of both e.g.
A filter of "Ca" will find all users whose first name begins with Ca
A filter of " Be" will find all users whose last name begins with Be (Note the space in front of the B)
A filter of "Ca Be" will find all users whose first name begins with Ca and whose last name begins with Be

Quick Filter:   clicking on one of these buttons will automatically generate a search filtered by the appropriate range of surnames e.g.
Clicking on the "A-E" quick filter will return all users whose surnames begin with A or B or C or D or E.

None of the filters are case sensitive.

Changing Group Membership
To select a user, click on their name. A tick will appear in the grey box next to their name; or, if it was already ticked, it will clear. When at least one change has been made an Update button will appear in the bottom right-hand corner of the form.

Pressing Update will effect the changes you have selected. So, users who were already a member of the selected group but were ticked will be removed from the selected group, and those users who were not members but have been ticked will be added to the group.

A progress indicator will display next to the Update button indicating how far through the changes the application is. If there are only a few changes, the bar may come and go before you can actually see it!

When there are no unactioned changes remaining, the Update button will disappear. As the ticked users are added to or removed from the group, the tick next to their name will be replaced with a check square.

Bulk Select
Clicking on the "Bulk Select" button (+/-) at the top of a column will select all the names in the list. Clicking it again will clear all of the ticks.

Update
Once you have made at least one change the Update button will appear on the form. Clicking the update button will commit the changes you have made. The ticked options will grey out and the Update button will disappear again.

A large number of changes to a large number of users may take a while. A progress bar will display thoughout the update process. Once finished, you can click the Go button again to display the new memberships.
Note: Depending on your UserBase settings, and the number of changes, it may take a few seconds for UserBase to update its' database and reflect the current status.

Email
Sends an email to your mailbox, listing all the users both in the group and not in the group.

Current Version
Clicking on the Question Mark in the upper-right hand corner of the form will display the current version of the application.
