Answersheet Player
The Answersheet Player allows you to submit answers to a list of questions that will be provided in a separate FirstClass document.
Supported question types include Multi-choice and Short Answer.
Time Allowed
If the test is time limited, the amount of time you have remaining to enter and submit your answers will be displayed in the Window title bar.
If there is an Asterisk (*) in front of the words Time Remaining, then when time runs out, the answers you have selected will be automatically submitted - even if you still have unanswered questions. If there is no Astrix, then at the end of the allowed time you will be asked if you want to submit the answers you have, or cancel. Of course, if you finish before you run out of time, you can use the Submit button to submit your answers at any time.
If the test isn't time limited, the word Answersheet will be displayed.
Submit Answers
Press this button to submit your answers for marking. If you have questions that you haven't unanswered, you will be asked to confirm that you really do want to submit unanswered questions.
Cancel
Press Cancel to end the test taking process. If you are allowed to save your answers to continue at a later time, you will be asked if you want to save what you have entered so far (note: not all tests will let you save your entries to date; it is up to the person who set the test up to enable this option).

The status column is also used to show the marking once the answers are submitted. Refer to the section on Marking below for more information.
Answer
If the question is a Multi-choice question, this will be a drop-down list containing all the possible answers. It will initially be set to Unanswered. Click on the list and select your answer for each question.
If the question is a Short Answer type question, it will be set to Short Answer. Clicking on this will bring up the Short Answer dialog box:
The Question number will be shown in the title bar, and the answer goes in the text box. Click on the Save button to record your answer, or the discard button to cancel the changes.
Marking
When you click on the Submit button, or if you run out of time, one of three things will happen, depending on the level of reporting set for the Answersheet:
No Feedback
The Submit button will disappear and the Cancel button will change to Exit. No marking or score will be displayed
Marking Only
Your answers will be marked and you'll be shown whether you got the question right, partially right or wrong. One of the following icons will be displayed in the Status column for each Answer:
Answer was correct - full marks awarded
Answer was partially correct - some marks were awarded, but not full marks.
Answer was wrong or no answer supplied - no marks awarded or marks taken off.
Short answer question that needs to be manually marked.
Marking and Points
As well as the answers being marked, you will see how many marks you got for each multi-choice question. Short Answer questions need to be manually marked, so if the test contained any Short Answer questions, your final mark may change.
Email Results
After your answers have been submitted, the Submit Answers button will change to Email Results. Selecting this button will email a copy of your answers and points awarded to your mailbox.
Exit
After your answers have been submitted, the Cancel button will change to Exit, which closes the Answersheet application.
